"In 2021, my fiance and I moved to Ithaca and got engaged. Even though neither of us are from here, we knew immediately that this is where we wanted to get married! Wedding planning is a lot to tackle, and I can't imagine where we'd be right now without the Sweet Bough Collective. When we began searching for vendors, sites like Zola and The Knot popped up of course, but it seemed like Ithaca vendors were being overshadowed by the larger markets in Syracuse and Binghamton. My fiance Matt is a woodworker, and we thrive off of meeting people when we vend at craft fairs; supporting small local businesses is important to us because we know what it's like to be one! Finding a majority of our vendors via Sweet Bough Collective really allowed us to plan a wedding that reflected who we are and the values we want to reflect on our day. We are SO excited for our upcoming wedding, and we fully believe that's because of the amazing local vendors we found through Sweet Bough!!"
